If you’ve been hiding under a culture free rock you may have missed the opening night of Perth’s fabulous festival, packed with pleasure, Fringe World 2014.
At Fringe World anything goes. Cabaret, theatre, visual arts, comedy, burlesque and much much more. Perth City and beyond sparkles for a month of quirk, with something for everyone.
My friend L & I opened our Fringe World 14 experience with The Blue Room Theater’s Summer Nights House Warming, a night of unexpected delights, refreshing cocktails, Jazzy Nail Art (L got polka dots), DJ’s and an intense one minute theatre performance of Oedipus by new Perth performing arts group The Last Great Hunt. A brilliant start to a month of fun.
Fringe World runs from now until February 23. Tickets for all shows are available online, or from the Fringe World pop up box in the city.
