I’ve never really been a shorts kinda girl. I don’t know why, but I don’t think I’ve ever really felt confident enough to show off that much of my legs. But I’m finally at a point my life where I feel good about my body and I want to show off my pins (stretch marks, cellulite and all)!!!
I picked up this pair of bright shorts at Kmart recently. Like a crow, I was drawn to the bright, fun print and I love that they are made from a thicker fabric. They definitely give off a sixties vibe, especially when paired with this fantastic white quilted top from Dotti. Both items were on sale, so I think the entire outfit cost under $50 (shoes included)!
My little sister and I spent Sunday wandering along the river in the sunshine and I felt totally comfortable, yet stylish. These shorts will get a massive work out over the summer!
What are you afraid to wear?

I am the same, was never really a shorts girl, but have now come to the point where I am comfortable with my legs. So I say bring on shorts for the coming spring/summer. Love the shorts! 🙂
Go you! Can’t wait to get a few more pairs. Thanks so much Monica 🙂
