Frocktober 2016: The Striped Wrap Dress {featuring Little Party Dress}

Want to donate to Frocktober? Click here now, every dollar counts.

Today’s frock will definitely be one for the suitcase come travel time to Malaysia next month. Floaty, comfortable and on trend, this frock from Little Party Dress is a new found favourite. It almost feels as if you’ve put on your favourite light dressing gown to head out the door! Comfort is key in my wardrobe, and I couldn’t be happier with the “Mandy Blue Stripe Wrap Dress” ($59.95). The loose billowing sleeves add a striking look to the wrap, and I love the added bit of length at the back of the frock. Goddess dress much!

Little Party Dress is my new online shopping haven, with everything from casual day dresses to literal little party dresses for every kind of girl. If you’re a fan of this stylish frock, get online now – it’s still available in limited sizes. Huge thanks to Kelly at LPD for this stunning frock donation and for donating to the charity directly.

I’ve become a little bit obsessed with wrap dresses in the last few months and I know I’ll be filling my wardrobe with them over the coming months. Why? Because they are perfect for hourglass shaped ladies like me, as the wrap shows off your smallest part, your waist, and skims over your hips and behind. The v-neck is also perfect for those bustier ladies out there, as it flatters your chest.

So why am I in a frock again? All in the name of fundraising for Frocktober of course. Frocktober is a month long fundraiser for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). Every day this month I’ll be donning a frock, documenting said adventures and raising much needed dollars for Ovarian Cancer Research. This is my third year participating in the Frocktober fundraiser, and my second year as an ambassador and face of the charity. We’ve already raised over $800 and I would love to see that hit $1000 over the weekend so if you can donate, please do! Every dollar counts.

And if you’re in Perth on October 22, you must attend our Frocktober Fashionable Afternoon Tea. Tickets are only $15 with proceeds going straight to Frocktober. All the information and tickets can be found here!

What are you up to on this lovely Friday?

  1. Love this dress! Wonder if it will git over a baby bump?

    • I def think it will Jess. It’s very generous in the front! The slit is quite high so perhaps a slip underneath would be ideal just incase the wind is blowing 😉
