Happy Monday guys! Week three of Frocktober already and I can’t believe how quickly it’s flying by! You still have time to donate to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation – every dollar counts. Anna from The Tangible Blog and I have nearly raised $1000 already but we’d love to hit our target of $3000 by the end of October. You can donate by clicking here. If everyone I know donates $2 we’ll hit our target quick sticks. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated already, it really means a lot.
If you’re only just tuning in today and have no idea what Frocktober is I’ve explained it all here. But basically it’s a month long fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer Research. Don a frock every day for a month. And I’m blogging all of my frocks for the month so stick around if you’re a frock lover. You can check out the other frocks I’ve shared by clicking here.
Today’s frock is another op-shop find, this time from Anglicare Stores. I discovered it on the “retro” rack and it was love at first sight! I love a 50s style fit and flare frock and I believe someone actually made this dress themselves as it does have a few imperfections, but that is what makes it such a gem. It also features the most amazing embroidered patterns through the fabric which are just so cool and textural, I couldn’t leave it behind. The dress also has pockets which is just goals. Hahaha.
Only a few sleeps until our Frocktober event too! You can find all the ticketing details here, but it’s only $15 including food and drink so if you’re in Perth this weekend I would love to have you along to raise funds for the cause (and enjoy a lovely afternoon tea and champagne together).
I’m off to work today in my frock (so exciting), but I’ll have a few fun things and more to share with you via Instagram Stories today if you want to see more of my embroidered beauty!
And finally I didn’t manage to get blog posts up this weekend for my weekend frocks as I was too busy partying with my love for her birthday, but you’ll find my snaps over on Instagram.
Luckily this week is supposed to be warm and sunshine filled so I’ll be able to leave the jackets at home! Enjoy your Monday!
Do you frock up for work?
