Five ways to make your early morning Winter starts that little bit easier!

I know I know. Getting up in the morning is hard. But come Winter it’s 500 times harder. Your bed is warm, it’s bitter outside and motivation is clearly lacking. But just because it’s the coldest time of year doesn’t mean life stops. These days should not be wasted! As hard as it is, I enjoy getting up early (even in Winter), because there are memories to be made and fun to be had. Advertisements

Taking Stock – Winter ’16

Today is my Saturday. I’m working Sunday evening which means technically I have an almost long weekend with Friday off. It’s one thing I love about shift work. Bonus time for fun things! And hanging out with my Nanna this morning for a coffee and some brunch. And taking time to sit back and take stock, one of my favourite things to do every now and then to just check in with where I’m at and what I’m prioritising at the time.

14+ Days | Life Update

Hi friends! It’s been a while since I’ve checked in. Apologies on this end – the last few weeks have been crazy town since we got back from our trip to Singapore in March. Since then the renovations have continued on the house and I’ve started a new job part time! Plus the other 85433 things I get up to weekly!

P E R S O N A L: All of the feels

Every morning on my way to work I without a doubt tune into Matt & Alex‘s breakfast show on Triple J. Besides the dose of cool new indie tunes and news updates, Matt and Alex love a good chat. Whatever the topic I find myself in stitches, like I’m in a conversation with mates. Naww.

A “hipster” guide to Singapore

Whether you like it or not the “hipster” is still alive and kicking, and whilst most people find them frustratingly “cool” and left of field, you’ve got to appreciate their attention to detail when it comes to the perfect cup of coffee, artsy shopping experiences and well poached eggs. I’ll admit I’m a bit of a wanky bastard when it comes to eating out (no Dome for this girl) and I love discovering new and quirky spots to eat, drink and play. Whilst traveling in Singapore last week this didn’t change, and poor E was dragged along to discover “hipster Singapore”, and I’ll admit I was pretty impressed.
