I don’t know about you guys, but this year I’ll be shopping local for all my Christmas gifts. Besides supporting local talent, shopping local helps boost the WA economy, plus we are bursting at the seams with the well made products and wonderful creatives in our pretty little state. This blog has introduced me to so many fabulous labels from candles to cacti to colourful art that’ll certainly brighten up ones home and life.
I’m writing this post from the depths of Cambodia, and I know I’m supposed to be enjoying my vaycay but I just had to share with you all the big news I’ve been keeping secret for the last month! I’m not the best secret keeper when it comes to exciting new things, but I’ve been super sneaky with this one.
Stepping onto the marina I was a little nervous because I was all by myself. My hands were shaking, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was excited because this evening was all about celebration. Where was I and what was I celebrating? Let us back track a little bit…
If I had any idea how this year would pan out when I started my little spot on the internet I probably would have had a heart attack. Or at least a panic attack. Because the day I decided to really put some time and effort into my blog I didn’t realise that my little place of ranting and reviews would become so much more.
If you follow the blog you’ll know I’ve been on a mission to grow my hair out for summer. I’ve never been a huge hair extensions fan, so all I could really do was let it grow. Yes, that “lovely” song from Frozen came into my head too. Sorry. I’ve tried lengthening and strengthening shampoo and conditioner which is definitely working, but there was one thing I forgot about when I decided to grow out my mop.
I can’t tell you how long the Wallpaper Guide To Perth has sat on my bookshelf, but when I initially picked it up online I had plans. Plans to get out and discover my city.
I spent last night freaking out and hyperventilating. Why you ask? Because I found out Ford Australia is loaning me a brand new EcoSport for six weeks so I can go on an adventure. Pinch me.
I’m not the best at keeping exciting secrets. Note to friends: don’t tell me anything super duper awesome but private i.e. you’re pregnant, engaged or you’ve won the lotto. I’ll have to tell someone. Sorry.
