Confession. I’m becoming more addicted to skin care and beauty products than ever before. Whenever I enter a chemist, supermarket, department store or beauty related shop I feel the need to buy something to add to my growing collection. This week alone I’ve purchased two kinds of face masks, a new night cream, rose hip oil, organic cleanser and toner, tinted lip balm, mascara, cleansing wipes, tinted moisturiser and make up pads!
My beauty regime is pretty standard all year round, but come Summer the focus changes to brighter lips, hydrating my skin and covering those bags from last nights adventures. I’ve put together a list of the products I’ve gone wild for lately, the products keeping my eyes, skin, lips and face very happy this sunshine season. What do you go wild for in Summer?
I thought I’d share a secret with you all today. The truth behind why I always wear bright lipstick.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again- I’ve certainly never claimed to be a beauty blogger.
Stepping onto the marina I was a little nervous because I was all by myself. My hands were shaking, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was excited because this evening was all about celebration. Where was I and what was I celebrating? Let us back track a little bit…
If you follow the blog you’ll know I’ve been on a mission to grow my hair out for summer. I’ve never been a huge hair extensions fan, so all I could really do was let it grow. Yes, that “lovely” song from Frozen came into my head too. Sorry. I’ve tried lengthening and strengthening shampoo and conditioner which is definitely working, but there was one thing I forgot about when I decided to grow out my mop.
E sent me an email last week filled with smiley faces and exclamation marks. Why was she so happy? Because she’d decided she was spending the weekend “spring cleaning”, because, you know, that’s what you do at the beginning of Spring. My reply was less enthusiastic and I refused to spend my weekend dusting blinds and rearranging trinkets, but of course I let her go with it.
Dear Diary, I have a confession to make. I’ve fallen in love.
