With a change of season comes a slight change in beauty product rotation, and I wanted to share my current loves with you all today. I’ve been taking care of my hair this Winter with Muk products (more about winter hair care here), but what have I been putting on my face and bod?
The countdown is on, only a few more weeks until E and I head off on an adventure overseas! I’m not sure whether or not I’ll preschedule blog stuff for while I’m away, but I do know if you follow me on Instagram you’ll be harassed with many a holiday happy snap. Vietnam is up first followed by a trek across the border into Cambodia. So excited!!! Being the disorganised lass I am I’m very lucky to have “E the organised” in full on planning mode. She’s been brilliant with researching and scheduling in everything we need. I’m so lucky. I basically said to her I’d be there at the airport and whatever she wants to do I’m keen. This year has been a bit nutty to be honest. I’m okay, nothing wrong in my camp, but we have had a lot of interesting things happening around us over the last few months, so I just can’t wait to take time out and just breathe. And relax. And explore. And just live a little! Lets …
If you didn’t know I’m off to Melbourne on Friday. I’ll be putting on my big girl pants and heading interstate (all alone) for the Kidspot Voices of 2014 final hurrah and I can’t wait! I’m not much of a traveller (sadly) so I get a little nervous whenever I do travel, but I think it’s because I’m the type of person who is certain she’ll forget something. This is why I’ve already started packing for my mini weekend away.
This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Sunsilk Australia. We all know the quote “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Well, I’m the first to admit if the cover, box or package is pretty, I’m going to buy it!
Since taking the leap and getting “bangs” I’ve been forced to actually put some effort in when styling my hair. No more throwing my hair in a top knot (which I miss desperately by the way) as my fringe is too short to pin back and needs hourly maintenance.
I’m a little bit obsessed with Kelly Osbourne’s purple hair. Pastel hair in general – my Pinterest & Tumblr are full of pastel haired beauties looking all ethereal and sweet enough to eat. My hair is dark – like so dark brown it’s almost black, so the pastel thing wouldn’t work for me (I did have red anime style streaks when I was a kid but that’s another horrible story!), so ill just hav to admire the look from afar.
