P E R S O N A L: All of the feels

Every morning on my way to work I without a doubt tune into Matt & Alex‘s breakfast show on Triple J. Besides the dose of cool new indie tunes and news updates, Matt and Alex love a good chat. Whatever the topic I find myself in stitches, like I’m in a conversation with mates. Naww. Advertisements

P E R S O N A L : Self Reflections

Whether it be a big thing or little thing, life tends to knock you around a bit every now and then. Shake you up. Make you think about the aspects of your day to day proceedings and puzzle you. Ideas are formed, questions to yourself are raised. The over thinking begins, perhaps a bit of self doubt.

What kind of friend are you?

I’ve been a naughty friend lately. Not in the sense of being mean and nasty to my friends, but in the sense of letting life snatch me up and the roller coster whirl wind of blog life and other things has dragged me away from my normal routine and I miss my friends. Flicking through my phone lately more than one close friend and I have tried to plan a coffee date or a brunch date and it just hasn’t happened. Hey life, slow down. I miss my mates!  This got me thinking about friendship in general. People have people in their lives for different reasons. To inspire them. To better them as a person. To pick them up. To laugh with. If they need an ear. I’ve put together a list of the kinds of friendships you come across in life. From the good to the not so perfect. 14 DAYS

The countdown is on, only a few more weeks until E and I head off on an adventure overseas! I’m not sure whether or not I’ll preschedule blog stuff for while I’m away, but I do know if you follow me on Instagram you’ll be harassed with many a holiday happy snap. Vietnam is up first followed by a trek across the border into Cambodia. So excited!!! Being the disorganised lass I am I’m very lucky to have “E the organised” in full on planning mode. She’s been brilliant with researching and scheduling in everything we need. I’m so lucky. I basically said to her I’d be there at the airport and whatever she wants to do I’m keen. This year has been a bit nutty to be honest. I’m okay, nothing wrong in my camp, but we have had a lot of interesting things happening around us over the last few months, so I just can’t wait to take time out and just breathe. And relax. And explore. And just live a little! Lets …

Taking Stock: The Autumn Edition

April has got to be one of my favourite months, probably because it’s my birthday month! This past weekend was titled “The Weekend of E” and involved too much cake, lots of fun cocktails and time with my favourite people. I celebrated turning 27 from Friday morning tea time at work all the way through till yesterday evening.

14 DAYS

Not too much to report in the last few weeks except my trip to Melbourne, pre-Christmas blog events, family stuff, the usual work shenanigans and being run off my ass with a million errands and a to-do list the size of a small child.
